The Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools will host the annual Children’s Friendship Conference for every 3rd-grade student in Tuolumne County, accompanied by their classroom teacher, as a county-wide school field trip. This event will take place at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds on September 17th and 18th, 2024.
At the Children’s Friendship Conference, students will learn through group activities, songs, and interactive games how to describe what makes a good friend and how students can be good friends to others, including learning about how to create and foster healthy friendships.
As your third grader becomes more aware of how others view them, their friendships take on an important role in their lives. The goal of the Children’s Friendship Conference is to help your child navigate these new and existing friendships and become a more confident and empathetic friend.
