In this program, participants will explore the concept of snacking, learn about its benefits, and examine its impact on blood sugar levels. They will discuss how effective snacking can fulfill the body’s need for essential nutrients. Additionally, they will learn how to use myplate.gov to identify nutritional gaps and receive recommendations for foods that can help fill those gaps. Participants will also explore the role of fiber, understand the difference between soluble and insoluble fiber, and identify sources of each type.
