2025 Excellence in Teaching Awards

Celebrating the educators who inspire, empower, and transform Tuolumne County

On April 22, 2025, the Tuolumne County Board of Education hosted the annual Excellence in Teaching Awards at the stunning new Chicken Ranch Casino Conference Event Center. Emceed by Superintendent Zack Abernathy, the evening was a celebration of the heart and soul of our schools—our educators.

Each honoree was introduced through a moving video presentation featuring testimonials from students and colleagues, highlighting the lasting impact these teachers have on lives and learning across Tuolumne County.

“Teachers are the heart of our community. The impact they have on children lasts far beyond the classroom—shaping lives, inspiring dreams, and building the future of Tuolumne County.”
Zack Abernathy, Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools

We are proud to recognize these exceptional individuals for their dedication, innovation, and the profound difference they make each day.
