About the Program
Mad About Science is a FREE summer STEM experience hosted by the Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools and held on the Columbia College campus. Designed for students entering grades 4–9, the program brings Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math to life through exciting, hands-on activities like:

Building bridges

Launching rockets

Making slime and lava lamps

And so much more!
Students will explore real-world science in a fun, collaborative environment — building curiosity, confidence, and creativity along the way.
