TCSOS leads Tuolumne County in developing collaborative partnerships that support equitable, high-quality early childhood education. TCSOS manages a variety of projects that offer services and supports to families in Tuolumne County with a focus on early care and education.

TCSOS provides technical assistance, professional development, support in curriculum and instruction, guidance in assessment and accountability, and current information on state and federal programs to all Local Education Agencies (LEAs) in Tuolumne County

The TCSOS Health Services team ensures all students in Tuolumne County have access to resources to support their individual health needs. This department is made up of multiple different programs including school nursing, nursing procedure support, Smile Smile Keepers Dental Program, mental health services, audiology, and hearing conservation.

Providing highly qualified staff, leadership, support, networking and professional development in order to deliver outstanding customer service to the school communities of Tuolumne County. In addition to insuring compliance with State and Federal regulations with regards to employment and teacher certification, the Human Resources staff provides assistance in the application process for credentials and/or permits through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Our office also maintains the substitute teacher database and provides LiveScan fingerprinting services to the public.

Student Support Services offer multiple programs designed to ensure cognitive, emotional, and social wellbeing for Tuolumne County Students. 

The TCSOS Technology team acts as a technology partner to the County’s eleven school districts and their schools. Providing high-quality informational and instructional technology and telecommunications leadership, support, networking, security and professional development for the school communities of Tuolumne County.
